Scripting:
SAN Script creates powerful custom applications which includes embedding data into the web server. Serial & Network data can be
manipulated as it traverses the EtherPAD. View our
online demos to see some scripting examples in action.
Scripting documentation and code samples can be found
here.
PPP:
PPP option allows IP packets to be transported over the Serial line with an externally connected modem. The EtherPAD can be configured
as an access server or to dial out on-demand (or both). More info is available
here.
Dynamic Routing:
Connect to a remote network (LAN) via an externally connected modem and with the PPP option enabled. You can also connect two remote networks
together. With the Routing option, IP packets from the Serial PPP link traverse the EtherPAD and are forwarded onto the remote LAN via the
Ethernet interface. The EtherPAD becomes a gateway between two networks.
Modbus Scripting:
SAN Script commands for manipulating Modbus Data.
Modbus Bridge:
Configure the EtherPAD for a Master or Slave Bridge, converting Modbus TCP/UDP to Modbus ASCII/RTU. More info is available
here.
